Wondering how?
1 ton of plastic bottle caps → 500 000 caps → 1 Wheelchair → 1 smile
In order to offer 100 wheelchairs, we need to collect
50 000 000 plastic bottle caps.
So, what type of bottle caps should we collect?
1. Caps on all food containers and drinking bottles (water, milk, soda, mayonnaise, ketchup...)
2. Lids found on everyday cartons (drinking yoghurt, mustard, powdered chocolate, spreads, coffee ...)
3. Caps found on household products with the exception of those on sprays that contain a metallic spring (dish soap, softener, bleach ...)
4. Caps found on hygiene products (toothpaste, shampoo, liquid soap, hairspray, deodorant, shaving foam, shower gel).
What about drop-off?
You may drop off your collected caps any time on Thursday and Friday at our arcenciel centers in Jisr el Basha. |
